For Cara, Tangerine is so much more than just a fruit. It was the name of the main character in her first published short story, printed out on her home computer and proudly presented to her mother as a birthday gift at the tender age of eight. Since then, Cara has translated her love of words into a career as a professional editor, where she enjoys working closely with authors to help them refine their voices and prepare their manuscripts for publication.
As a copy editor, proofreader, and copywriter for the past nine years, Cara focuses her time on providing high-quality, professional, and affordable editing services to authors. Her clients include New York Times, USA Today, and Amazon bestselling authors, and she accepts manuscripts across most genres. Cara is based in Los Angeles and has worked with authors throughout the United States and beyond.
In her spare time, you can find Cara digging her toes in the sand while devouring a good book, working on her latest writing project, or (more commonly) chasing her overly-excitable rescue dog up and down the streets of her neighborhood.
